A message from the new managing team

Owing to ill health on the part of the key operator of Mauritius News, certain delay is being experienced in the publication of the paper.
While we present our apologises to our subscribers, we wish to assure them that every effort is being made to keep to a schedule and to resume our regular service delivery the soonest. Because two issues are being combined into one (May/June), subscribers may feel shortchanged or even overcharged. But since our renewal exercise is effected once every quarter instead of each month when the subscription is due, we trust that no one is being shortchanged or overcharged for their annual subscription.
We need the understanding of every supporter in our effort to keep the paper on track, and we thank everyone who has been sending us letters of encouragement.
We shall keep our readers posted via the paper and our website, www.mauritiusnews.co.uk with any further development.
The business demands expertise in various areas of activities and of management that commands salaries beyond our means. The business is now being run by a management team who have the knowledge and capacity to cope with the requirements of the company?s operations. Unfortunately the former management could not afford the cost of such employment.
We, the new team are absolutely confident that we can cope with the new technology that now controls the service delivery. We shall bear in mind the funding requirements for the development and expansion of the business for which, in due course, a wider participation will be required. Even a Branson and giants like Sainsbury and what not, need to depend on funding from shareholders. So do we to meet the demands of an expanding business.
The New Team
